On 6th July, the first Facilitator's Coordination Meeting was held at Down Syndrome Society of Bangladesh right after a 4-day Facilitator Training Program which was conducted by Down Syndrome International, UK in Dhaka last month. The main agenda of the meeting was to review the plan of action to establish a self advocacy group for adult with Down syndrome in Dhaka. The facilitators were present from the Department of Communication Disorders, University of Dhaka, AMDA, DRRA, Child Foundation, Special Olympics Bangladesh, Bashundhara Special Children Foundation, Dipto Shimanto and DSSB.
