Day long survey activity held at AMDA Bangladesh complex, Gazaria

A day- long survey  held at AMDA Bangladesh Complex, Gazaria on 21st December, 2020 under the research activity entitled “Mental Health Functioning of Caregivers and their offspring with Neuro-Developmental Disorders During the outbreak of COVID-19 in a selective population : A case control study” organized by Neuro-developmental Disabilities Protection Trust (NDDPT), Government of Bangladesh. As a part of the research program, the research team of NDDPT surveyed total 53 children born with Down syndrome and Intellectual Disabilities. Down Syndrome Society of Bangladesh (DSSB) and AMDA Bangladesh assisted as the technical partner of NDDPT to undertake this research activity at Gazaria Upazilla.

The current research is conducted by Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Rabbani, chairperson of Neuro-developmental Disabilities Protection Trustee Board, as the chief researcher. During the survey, the senior management staffs of Down Syndrome Society of Bangladesh and AMDA Bangladesh extended their kind support for the program.
The research team of NDDPT thanked DSSB and AMDA Bangladesh for their excellent cooperation and overall arrangement and support for the survey on NDD people.
